Another of our well used pieces of equipment is the grit blast cabinet. Unlike a lot of other cabinets, this one uses a vacume system, rather than a pressure one. Admittedly, it can be a slower and therefore more expensive blaster from the customers point of view, but because it is a gentler process of blasting, it is ideal for those items that require a less harsher removal of paint or rust. Approxamately 5 foot square, the
unit is capable of accepting quite large items. Many
vintage car panels have been blasted here prior to
painting and many, many bike frames, along with gates,
cabinets, motor cycle tanks and a host of other items.
