Obviously the crux of work at Phoenix is the polishing of metals. All metals from
Iron to Titanium can be polished. Whole ornamental fireplaces have been polished
in the past, although this is quite a long and time-consuming process. Stainless
Steel is an obvious favourite for the polishing process. It can be taken from
raw bar or plate form and brought to a shine of that better than chrome plate.
Being stainless, it will obviously last better too. Bike parts are another
favourite here too. Everything from a nut and bolt to an entire frame can be polished.
There are indeed many, many bikes in the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum
at New Milton in Hampshire, that have all had parts renovated, cleaned and polished
from here. Locally in Poole during the summer months, Bike Night on Poole
Quay is a popular event. Motorcycles old and new can be seen, many of them carrying
side casings, handlebars, carbs or forks that have been polished here. Those
that enjoy the classic or custom car scene will also find our services useful.
Just check out the before and after pictures of the V6 plenum chamber and the
throttle housing. This is on a show winning Ford Capri whose entire engine bay
parts have been either blasted or polished. The pictures show what a difference
a bit of professional polishing can achieve. |
